Secrets To Creating Sanity-Saving Stations Around Your House So What You Need Is At Your Fingertips When Baby Arrives!
The #1 question I get from expecting parents is an exasperated, "There's so much to do! Where do I even start?" In this masterclass, you won't just find out where to start--you'll ACTUALLY start, and leave with next steps to move forward.
I love a good checklist, but the problem with them is that our lives are not one-size-fits-all. In a quick 5-minute activity, you'll develop an understanding of how to get ready for baby based on your unique home and lifestyle.
Knowing how and what to prepare is tough, and there's one major mistake I see new parents making over and over and over again. Learn what that mistake is, and learn my secret strategy for what to do instead.
There's so much we do to get ready for baby, and so much we ignore about supporting OURSELVES through this enormous transition. But not anymore. I'm teaching you effective ways to prepare to care for yourself.
When the reality of parenting a newborn sets in, a beautiful nursery matters a lot less than meeting our own basic needs for nourishment, hydration, showers, and sleep. With my sanity-saving stations, you'll learn how to setup your home so life is easier and the things you need are literally within arm's reach!
Here's what others have said about my educational resources for expecting parents:
Is this masterclass really live?
Yes! I'll be live on this class with you, teaching you exactly what you need to know, and taking your questions at the end.
I'm not sure if this is really for me. Who is this masterclass for?
This class is for you if you're preparing for a baby and want sanity-saving solutions to make the early days easier.
What happens if I can't make it live?
While we strongly suggest making one of the live classes if you can (special bonuses will be offered only to live students!), we have you covered if the times just don't work for you. We'll email you a replay that you'll be able to watch until November 19, 2022.
Will there be a chance to ask questions during the masterclass?
Yes! There will be a live Q&A session at the end of this masterclass, so come prepared with your questions!
This isn't my first baby. Will this masterclass still help me?
Absolutely! We'll cover some things in this class you may already know, but you'll also grab lots of new information that you may not have considered before. Plus, the newborn days are blurry, so helpful reminders and tips go a long way to supporting you in the early days.
Is this really free?
It's free! Just give me your email address to send the details, then come prepared to learn.
I get the new parent struggle--I've BEEN there, and I don't want parents to struggle the way I did ever again.
Before having kids myself, I studied motherhood while earning my PhD, and I had no idea at the time how relevant that work was. I also have a decade of teaching experience--I taught at multiple universities in Atlanta, and I left the academic world with the specific goal of bringing all my research to you.
Combining 10+ years of research and classroom experience with my own personal experience of motherhood, I marry the theoretical with the practical to bring you tools and resources to make this journey easier, more fulfilling, and more about YOU!
I want to tell you a story, friend. It isn't pretty, but it's real, and that's what we need more of, right?
For years, I wanted nothing more than to have a baby. When I took care of other people’s babies (and it felt like EVERYONE else was having them), people said I was a “natural.”
I setup my niece’s nursery, made up songs just for her, and cried the first time I successfully shushed a friend’s baby to sleep. I even gave a new mom friend a swaddling tutorial. I was as ready as anyone could be.
Until I wasn’t.
When I brought Jack home--a moment I hadn’t actually allowed myself to imagine--I suddenly felt like I had NO IDEA what I was doing. The anxiety and guilt came flooding in, and they pummeled me for the next 30 months.
I had spent years trying to get to this baby. I had grieved so many losses.
Why didn’t I enjoy it more? What was wrong with me? I had made it through recurrent miscarriage. I thought the hard part was behind me.
With the help of two therapists, an incredible support system, a lot of hard work, and some help from Zoloft, I managed to claw my way out of this guilt-ridden pile of anxiety.
And then, I did what I do best. I started digging for answers.
That’s when I realized.
No one can prepare you for the massive emotional shift of going from pregnant to parent.
But you can take tangible steps to prepare yourself, your home, and your relationships. And by doing that work before baby arrives, you can have systems in place to support you through early new motherhood.
In the 4 ½ years between Jack and Branham, I created these systems. When I was pregnant with Branham, I implemented them. And when she was born, I discovered first-hand the difference between surviving in new motherhood and thriving.
This is an experience I treasure. It’s what we all deserve, and I want to help you get there.
